Module 5: Where Does All The Time Go? - Time Vortexes & Savers - Week 4
This is what you need to do in order to prepare for this week’s lesson. You are ready for this week when you have…
- Reviewed Slides 9-10 of Module 5: Where Did All The Time Go? – Time Vortexes & Savers – Slides to understand how to support your student in identifying Time Vortexes and creating Control Plans to employ Time Savers
These are the activities that your student will complete this week. This week your student will…
- Use Slides 9-10 of Module 5: Where Did All The Time Go? – Time Vortexes & Savers – Slides to create their own Time Saver Control Plan for a Time Vortex of their choice
- Create a SUPER Goal to implement their chosen Time Saver into their daily life, or whenever their chosen Time Vortex arises
This week, we recommend that your student continue to integrate what they have learned about visualizing expectations. Using slides 9-10 of the Module 5: Where Did All The Time Go? – Time Vortexes & Savers – Slides your student reviewed in Week 3, as well as the Mix & Match Activity they completed in Week 3, have them complete and create their own Time Saver Control Plan to address a Time Vortex of their choice.
Identifying a Time Vortex that significantly impacts their work, either in terms of frequency or duration, your student should work through the steps of naming cues to recognize the Time Vortex, steps to tame it, and shift to redirect their focus. They should also plan preventative steps they can take to avoid the Vortex altogether, if possible.
Once they’ve come up with their Control Plan, your student should create a SUPER Goal to turn their plan into a measurable and episodic goal. You can review the lessons from Module 2 as a refresher on creating a SUPER Goal and use the SUPER Goal Worksheet Template. You can find an example of a completed SUPER Goal Worksheet here.
